The Rokinon 12mm T2.2 Cine Lens for Micro Four Thirds Mount is a wide-angle lens optimized for digital cinematography. It produces an image circle that covers APS-C sized sensors or smaller. The lens features industry-standard 0.8 pitch gearing on the focus and aperture rings, making it suitable for use with a follow focus unit. The aperture ring is de-clicked, allowing for smooth iris pulls while shooting.
The lens has an angle of view of 83.0°, making it well-suited for shooting landscapes, architecture, and for use in tight interior locations. Its fast maximum aperture of T2.2 makes the lens suitable for shooting in low-light conditions. The lens design incorporates three extra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortion, producing sharper images. A Nano Coating System (NCS) has been applied to the lens elements to reduce surface reflections and prevent lens flare and ghosting.
