Inspired by the flower of the same name also known as flamingo flower, tailflower, painter's palette, & laceleaf (which is quite fitting). The most "open" of the Arum lilies which include Peace Lily & Calla Lily. (Anthurium petites are slightly smaller than our other Anthurium earrings.) These statement earrings place textile as the main event with a unique interpretation of the spadix as chain. They are composed of hand dyed vintage cotton lace that form the flower's petal carefully sewn to a brass structure & unique semi-structured brass chain. They hang at an angle & are light as a feather. Available in a variety of colours inspired by the flower itself including magenta, desert rose, peach, coral, lavender, light yellow, black, beige & white. (please inquire for custom colors) Come on hypoallergenic gold plated brass ear hooks, with rubber stoppers. Gold-fill, sterling silver & clip-on earring options available. Measure approximately 8 cm long by 3.5 cm wide. One earring weighs about 2.2 grams (the pair weighs about 4.4 grams together). Care tips : Keep out of humidity as much as possible & avoid direct contact with aerosols such as perfume, hairspray or sunscreen. (These are good tips for all of your jewelry.) A flat iron for hair (or a normal iron on low & without steam) may be used to re-shape the lace if needed. Limited edition due to the vintage & exotic sourcing of the materials.
